Project brief

A solution tailored to the facility, housing technology and future installation.

The main objective of the project was the manufacture and supply of reliable, injury-safe, hot-dip galvanized equipment for equipping various technological zones of the "AС Nyva-Plus" LLC livestock complex. It was necessary to implement versatile solutions for resting areas, feeding lines, cattle movement, and calf housing that ensure maximum animal comfort, ease of maintenance, and a long service life in aggressive environments.

Key zones and technical solutions

The template is designed for a structured presentation of the task, the structural solution and the technical standards of each individual project.

Resting area

To ensure proper cow rest, the area was equipped with "CC" type stall dividers tailored to the physiological needs of the herd.

  • Divider type: "CC" style with free space for the natural standing up and exiting of the animal
  • Material and design: bent Ø57 mm pipes without sharp edges or welded joints in the animal contact zone
  • Comfort and safety: the anatomical shape prevents joint injuries and gently centers the cow in the cubicle
  • Installation system: clamp fixing to longitudinal load-bearing pipes

Feeding table

To ensure convenient access to feed and effective herd management, combined solutions were implemented across various facilities of the complex.

  • Solution types: "Headlock" locking barriers, diagonal feed fences, and adjustable neck rails made of Ø60 mm pipe
  • "Headlock" functionality: safe individual or group locking of animals for veterinary examination and zootechnical procedures
  • Diagonal feed fences function: separates feeding positions, prevents feed spillage, and protects animals from injury during feeding
  • Ø60 mm neck rail: versatile solution adjustable for height to accommodate specific age group sizes

Gates

A system of adjustable gates was installed across different facilities of the complex for efficient herd flow management and service passage control.

  • Telescopic gates: single and double modifications with precise length adjustment capabilities to fit any passage width
  • Adjustable solutions: versatile gates of various lengths for flexible space zoning and animal guiding
  • Accidental opening protection: reliable latch locks that prevent accidental or spontaneous opening by animals

Young stock housing area

Modular pen systems with ergonomic design were implemented to ensure proper hygiene standards and promote fast calf development during the early weeks.

  • Dimensions and construction: individual pens measuring 1,500×1,000 mm (H=1,100 mm) built on a heavy-duty, hot-dip galvanized frame
  • Draft protection: solid side walls made of moisture-resistant laminated plywood to maintain an optimal microclimate and ensure easy disinfection
  • Equipment and convenience: hinged doors on castors with built-in holder rings for feeding and watering buckets

Technical standards and corrosion protection

Special emphasis is placed on equipment durability under conditions of high humidity, heavy mechanical loads, and ammonia fumes.

  • Material: S235JR grade steel with enhanced resistance to mechanical deformation
  • Protective coating: full immersion hot-dip galvanizing according to ISO 1461
  • Average zinc coating Thickness: 55 µm
  • Hardware: heavy-duty fasteners and 10 mm thick-walled clamps
